Hot Water Power Washers
Hot Water systems consist of two major components, the pump-and-motor unit which generates the high-pressure water flow (ie the pressure washer), and the burner-and-coil assembly that heats the water after it passes through the pressure washer pump. The first step in choosing a hot water power washer is determining how these two components are powered.
Pressure Washer (Cold Water Component)
- Electric Motor — designed for stationary or fixed installations close to a power source.
- Gasoline Engine — suited for portable and field use.
- Diesel Engine — built for heavy industrial applications requiring maximum durability and runtime.
Heating Coil (Hot Water Component)
- Oil/Diesel Fired — North American-made oil-fired burners with adjustable thermostats are used for their efficiency and durability. The burner is oil/diesel-fired and available in 12V or 120V options.
- Natural Gas (NG) Fired — natural gas heating is ideal for in-plant, service shop, and wash bay systems.
- Propane (LP) Fired — also available as a coil heating option across industrial models.
- Fully Electric (Immersion Heating) — electrically heated models use a 316 stainless steel heat exchanger coil, require no open flame, no venting, and can be installed in virtually any location, including explosion-proof configurations.
