Water Conditioner Pre-Treatment for Tomahawk Rainmaker
Pre-Treatment of your water source feeding your Reverse Osmosis System is one of the most important steps in ensuring your R.O. systems longevity in producing spot-free water. At the heart of any R.O. system is it's semi-permeable membranes, which do all the hard work in filtering your water to produce Spot-Free water. When the city water supply is the water source, removing the chlorine from the water supply is a critical step in preserving the life of the membrane elements.
The Waterboy (FMV5) and Rainman (FMV10) have their own carbon block filters that remove the chlorine from the water, eliminating the need for a dedicated standalone Water Conditioner. The Rainmaker being out biggest producer of spot-free water requires a dedicated Water Conditioner to remove the chlorine from the supply.
Our water conditioners come with a programmable head pre-programmed for each of the Rainmaker variants to provide automatic backflushes of the entire conditioner, preventing water channels from forming inside the media which can greatly diminish the effectiveness of removing the chlorine.
